Blah Blah Blah
HELLO, I hope everyone is having A great weekend. Nick and I are just relaxing here at the house. I started school this past Tuesday so lots of homework already. I have to admit it I enjoy doing it. Its not like when you were in high school and you dread doing your homework. I am so excited about learning more because knowledge is power. I absolutely love working as A preschool teacher. This past Wednesday I met with the ladies from the CF foundation,I really love them. They are terrific!!! We have the Great Strides walk coming up in May. Last year I didn't have alot of time to fund raise but this year we are on the ball. I am super excited about all the fundraising we have going on. We are doing our online fundraising which you can find the link to at the right of the page. We also have A silent tea party we are doing which is so cute. Then we have our pinups that we are selling for A dollar at local restaurants. Once it gets A little warmer we will be doing some car washes. Our goal as A team is 1500.00 dollars, And without a dought in my mind are we going to reach that goal and maybe more. WOOOHOOO. Anyways Things are good Nick went to the Dr. On Wednesday for his study that he is doing. His lungs sound great and he even gained 2 more pounds. I am so proud of him . Hope everyone has A great weekend... XOXO Always

Love is all you need....

This year Nick and I did something A little different.... Every year Nick and I usually spend the day together and the go out to eat that night for Valentines day. We usually don't buy each other gifts just exchange cards and enjoy each others company. This year we decided to do something different and I am SO glad we did. Saturday morning Nick and I along with his Mom and Dad all went to Callahan. My father in law and I always give blood and what better day to do it then Valentines day... HAHA So we went and donated blood but it was extra special this time. A family friend of ours has A little girl names Callie who has A heart condition. Her and her family have to fly out to California often for heart surgery. During surgery Callie has to get blood transfusions that are quite costly from my understanding. So everyone who gave blood Saturday was giving towards Callie's blood supply for surgery. She got credits for every pint of blood someone gave. So it was nice to be able to give that gift. Then after that we decided instead of just Nick and I going out for dinner, Why not invite the other people we love. So Nick and I along with his Mother and Father, Grandmother and Brother all went out to eat. It was so nice to go and enjoy that time with them. Through them I realize why my husband is the amazing person that he is. It is because of them that Nick is the strong willed,Honest,Hard working and determined man that I love today. To me their is nothing that can make you stronger than being two young parents and raising A child with A illness such As CF. Not only do you have to be strong but have faith. I am so thankful for the person that my husband is. I am so thankful for what he has overcome and the obstacles he will continue to overcome. I am so happy that I too will be able to be apart of that journey with him. I am so proud to be able to call him my husband. I think that with every obstacle Nick and I get through my love and compassion for him only grows stronger and stronger. So this Valentines was so great! I got to spend it with some of the greatest people. I am so thankful for them. I hope everyone had A great Valentines day!!!! I also added pictures from tonights dinner at the parents house.... XOXO Always

Chitter Chatter
The past couple days I have had A terrible cold. Funny though usually I am so busy taking care of Nick. Making sure he is doing all his meds,Eating lots and lots of food and feeling well. I have to admit it was kind of nice to have him take care of me this weekend. A couple weeks ago I had A cold and I thought it went aways.. BUT ITS BACK..GRRRRR. Nick truly is the greatest husband. He made me chicken noodle soup and made me drink lots of Orange juice. I am starting to feel a lot better though. Things have been going well. Nick has not gained any more weight but has maintained and kept on the weight had previously put on. We are still so thrilled about that.We are still thinking and planning some fundraisers for the great strides walk in April. I am meeting with Liza from the Cf foundation to maybe coordinate and get some ideas from her. I truly have A passion for raising money for the CF foundation. I know that it is through them we will find A cure for CF.I believe in my heart we are SO close. So don't forget to hit up that link to the right if the blog. I hope everyone had A great weekend and Have A great week. XOXO Always

A GOOD END TO A CRAPPY MONDAY

All last week I was trying to win tickets for Nick and I to go to the super bowl... I know I am A dork. I have never really done the radio contest thing. Last week though I called everyday hoping God was on my side and maybe wanted us to go to the super bowl. Funny Huh, Then I got to thinking... I have never won anything.... So tonight on my way home from work it was free music Monday and I said hey what the heck let me try. So I called and I WON!!! WOOOHOOO Of course I sounded like A big dork because I never win anything so I was super excited. I won the new Dierks Bently's CD "Feel That Fire" that comes out tomorrow. I love Dierks Bently so I was happy about that. Anyways Mondays are always crappy days so it was A GREAT end to A crappy Monday... XOXO Always
